Houston's Original Classical Pilates Studio
At Third Coast Pilates we continue to teach the original classical, New York Studio style of Pilates and have for twenty-seven years. We offer semi-private sessions in either the restorative (soft) or stimulating (hard) styles in a friendly, casual, non-competitive environment. All our instructors are certified Pilates teachers who continue to expand their knowledge of the rehabilitation and physical conditioning techniques of the Pilates method through in-house training with studio owner and Master Teacher, Joe Teague.
Whether your intention is to change your shape, alleviate pain, improve your game, or just have a fun and interesting workout, you will find it all here at Third Coast Pilates. While helping you to realize your personal goal, ours will be to improve your kinesthetic awareness, posture, flexibility, strength, muscular endurance, balance, co-ordination, and aerobic fitness.
Yes, the Pilates method was designed to be aerobic!
Please feel free to come in and try a single lesson ($55). There are no requirements to purchase other sessions, or pay extra for a "physical assessment". We like to keep it simple. All sessions are by appointment, are an hour long, and will be limited to two or three clients per instructor.
